Also this year tourists can choose between 2 cruising ships. One is a wooden "pirate" ship, the other one a catamaran called "PLATITERA TON OURANON". Both ships will be operating daily (except Thursday), going for a one day cruise from Ormos Panagias Sithonia, to Mount Athos and Ouranoupoli and back.
The catamaran offers a main lounge (capacity 250 max), the upper lounge enjoying a panoramic view (capacity 180 max) and the sun deck with bamboo chairs and tables able to accommodate 350 persons. You may enjoy your drink in any of the three decks.
On each ship an experienced professional guide will give historical informations about each Monastery. The day is full of excitement, entertainment, folkloric show with live music and some other surprises.
For guests who stay spend their holidays in or near Nikiti we can order tickets for the cruise without extra charge. The tickets can be picked up in our restaurant.

Time Description
9.30 Departure from Ormos Panagias Sithonia. During the trip to Ouranoupolis you 'll have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Athos and of the Monasteries: Dochiariou, Xenofontos, Dionisiou, Simon Petras, Panteleimon or Russian, Dafnis, Grigoriou, Pavlou Nea Skiti, Skiti Agias Annas.
From the bridge of the ship, a professional guide will be giving a historical lecture about the monk's republic and detailed description of the Monasteries.
13.00 Arrival at Ouranoupolis, where you will stay for approximately two and a half hours.
15.30 Departure from Ouranoupolis. During the return trip you may enjoy the program with the live orchestra and the folklore dancing... and join the dances!
17.00 Arrival at Ormos Panagias.
